Meeting of the Committee on Sport VOI SOIU

The main issues of the meeting of the Committee for Sport, which was held on April  25-26 in Poltava, was to discuss the main directions of development of recreational sports in the VOI SOIU and approve the program of IX Sports VOI SOIU. On the first question with informative report spoke Leonid Lysak - member of the "National Committee for non-Olympic sports for people with disabilities Ukraine." He spoke about the work of the new organization; new sports for people with disabilities will be developed under its auspices. He noted the importance of cooperation of related organizations to achieve the greatest possible impact in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities. "Identifying common types of recreational sports profile will enable to attract a lot more people with disabilities in regular classes and give them a better assistance" - he said in his speech. The speaker was asked a lot of questions that showed indifference of the audience and not the active principle of cooperation.


On the second question considered three options IX Sports programs: Vladimir Khrypunov (ARC), Svetlana Kovaleva (Kiev region), Catherina Saharova (Donetsk region). After much discussion and debate by the twenty regions adopted a program that included elements from all three proposals and was supplemented by important new applications. It will be published in the next issue of our newspaper and website http://pooi.avtor.ws to each area could be guided by it in their work in preparing for this important event. Particular attention was paid to the issue of raising the speakers discipline during the event and during the preparation and submission of documents for the Olympics. The general consensus was unanimous - should be strengthened requirements for members of the teams to the level of the event up to international standards. Chief referee of IX Sports unanimously was chosen Svetlana Kovaleva.
