On 1-7 June 2013 Was Held All-Ukrainian Sports-Event Recovery for People with Disorders of the Musculoskeletal System in the Kherson Region

On 1-7 June 2013 was held All-Ukrainian sports-event recovery for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system in the Kherson region. The event was  held by  All-Ukrainian Union of NGOs "Confederation of NGOs people with disabilities of Ukraine " supported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the State Service for people with disabilities and veterans of Ukraine.

The event was held to promote the active participation of people with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system in the social life of the community through their involvement in the promotion of healthy lifestyles, physical culture and sport

The event was attended by representatives of 14 regions of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Transcarpathian, Zaporozhye, Kiev, Kirovograd, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Crimea, Kyiv, total amount is 60 people.

 
Competitions were held in the following sports:

· Table tennis;

· Darts;

· Petanque;

· Racing on wheelchairs;

· Throwing the ball;

· Billiards;

· Slalom in wheelchairs;

· Skittles;

· Hockey;

·Gorodky;

· Volleyball on the table.

The event is remembered by the active participation of athletes struggle for results and awards for prizes.

Event for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system - is a significant event in the life of each participant. This event not only promotes healthy competition among participants-athletes, but also is  an effective means of rehabilitation and social adaptation.

      
A systematic training work, compete, not only increases the adaptation of people with disabilities to the conditions of life have changed, extend their functionality and help improvement of the body, but also contribute to the development of the coordination of the musculoskeletal system, has a positive effect on the psyche of people with disabilities and mobilize their will to fight the disease returning people a sense of social usefulness and their recognition by society as a whole.

Through participation in competitions people in violation of the musculoskeletal system increased social activity, emotional stability, and communicative activity.

            
The event ended with a closing gala and awards prizes to winners of competitions. Every day there were competitions and training work, and evenings were organized for the participants of entertaining competitions and discos.
